ME+Music

Hello, I go by the name of adam.One of my main interests is playing guitar, as music is a big part of my life. I go to gigs and clubs quite a bit, since there is music played at high volume and everyone is fuelled with energy, as there are loads of things going on in London’s nightlife and why not make the most of it. My inspiration is Joe Strummer, lead singer of the clash, not only because of the music he made but because of his morals and the message he sent through the music he made, this music created an alternative outlook on the conventional music. Punk music was a massive revelation in the era it was at its peak which created a large audience that was keen to support him. As he was an anarchist which I was also very keen on, as I do not think there should be a government or a higher authority that has control.

Not only do I listen to conventional band music but also like jungle and drum’n’bass music as it creates a natural energy that gets you to dance in the rave environment, which is also another interest of mine. As I also like going to festivals not only because of the music but because of the chaotic atmosphere. Besides playing guitar I also play bass, which I do not play as much as guitar. Ibiza is a location that is special to me as it is care free and there is always a live atmosphere which everyone seems to be into, after going there a few times with mates it has been one of my favoured locations. From a young age my dream has been to be a rockstar because the fast pace lifestyle and the opportunity to be yourself and to project your music to all the people. Being a musician would also give you the chance not to have to change and be pressured in to anything you don’t want to do as you are pretty much your own boss.
